About me:
I am a qualified accounting technician, and I have business experience at directorship level, so I am very familiar with the vocabulary of finance.
I've worked in professional and academic sports environments, in administration and management roles, for twenty years. Working in these, sometimes high-pressured, businesses has made me adept at producing high-quality work to extremely tight deadlines.
I've spent ten years working as an interviewer for the National Centre for Social Research, one of the UK's largest social research institutions.
My passion has always been food writing (from quite an early age, my preferred bed-time reading was cookbooks).
My specialist areas are fiction, food writing, financial reports, business plans, and sports reports.
My favourite fiction genres are fantasy and sci-fi, steampunk, crime, and police procedurals.
